Fans can expect an exciting official release on Sunday, July 31st, as numerous leaders have confirmed their reliability. Details about “Ancient Wano,” a character from One Piece Chapter 1055, were also revealed in the full summary spoilers. Many aspects of Kozuki Sukiyaki, Nico Robin, and Trafalgar Law’s journey to the aforementioned archaic civilization have now been clarified for fans. After a brief scene in the Flower Capital with Nami, Tama, and Zeus, the focus shifts to the Akazaya Nine vs Admiral Ryokugyu fight. Yamato steps in to aid Momonosuke when it appears that he was originally at a loss in his encounter with the Admiral. The new shogun, on the other hand, feels that he has a personal duty to protect Wano and its defenders.
Using the Maki Maki no Jutsu technique, Raizo attacks the Admiral with a fireball. Ryokugyu’s Fireproof Forest method first appeared to be effective, but it turns out that he was merely kidding before utilising it to break through the flames. He then mocks the shinobi for thinking he could beat an Admiral by taking advantage of such a clear weakness before piercing him with a branch and absorbing his nutrients in his body. Ryokugyu’s roots and branches have a Hydra-like character that Kawamatsu is unable to fight. Denjiro and Nekomamushi are also impaled at the same time. The focus then changes to Kozuki Sukiyaki’s hidden chamber, where a lengthy, descending stairway has been exposed to the earth. Law follows Sukiyaki and Robin down the stairwell, with Robin making fun of Law for finding her. After she went missing from the party, she retorted that he wasn’t an animal and had just gone looking for her. Kaido and Orochi have no idea that Sukiyaki was aware of this secret path.
Since Jack the Drought was a fish-man, they found the Poneglyph in no time at all. His answer, when asked by Robin, is that they will soon find out about the route. While telling the tale of Wano, he is cut off by Robin, who notices light emanating from an opening in the corridor. After explaining that they are now below sea level and that the glass is preventing any water from entering, Sukiyaki urges her to go ahead and check it out for herself.
Incredulous, Law teleports Robin when she climbs into the hole and finds the remnants of an old city. Sukiyaki identifies the ruins as those of Ancient Wano, explaining that they have remained intact due to the fact that the water is pure rather than salt. He then goes on to describe what happened to Ancient Wano, stating that Wano used to be 3 times as big as it is now. The location was near the base of Mount Fuji, rather than well above sea level. Thus, the country became isolated from the rest of the world at one point in time. However, this resulted in an unsustainable accumulation of rainwater within the walls, and the country was inundated to the point that it could no longer be saved. To get inside Ancient Wano, the Straw Hat and Big Mom Pirates had to scale a series of imposing waterfalls that spilt over the walls of the fortress. It wasn’t long until people decided to leave Ancient Wano behind and construct a new kingdom around Mount Fuji. Sukiyaki next unlocks the door at the bottom of the stairwell, revealing Wano’s Road Poneglyph. Laugh Tale can finally be reached if Robin and the group uncover one more Poneglyph.
The Ancient Weapon Pluton, according to Sukiyaki, is located deep within the cave at the foot of Mt. Fuji. It’s possible that Sukiyaki is lying, but it’s impossible for him to tell Law and Robin where the weapon is located. In order to get Pluton out, he says, the massive walls of Wano must be torn down. Pluton will be released on the globe if Wano’s borders are opened because the country’s defence walls have been destroyed. Sukiyaki tells Robin that he has informed them of everything he knows about Oden’s plans. One Piece Chapter 1055 reverses perspective yet more, as the protagonist says that he has no clue what Oden learned on his quest. The struggle between Akazaya and Admiral Ryokugyu is once again the focus of One Piece Chapter 1055. They’ve confined the former and claim they can’t do anything to stop Mother Nature, aside from Momo. Once Kaido’s rule was over, he claims, the country’s foes were no longer afraid to invade. If he doesn’t get his hands on Straw Hat Luffy’s head, Ryokugyu plans to flee the nation.
Even while Yamato is certain that they can defeat someone like him, he questions if they should enlist the assistance of the Straw Hats and Luffy. Momo cries as he tells Yamato that he doesn’t need Luffy or anyone else’s support, and again asks him to stop helping. He goes on to say that he & Wano can’t always count on Yamato, Luffy, Zoro, and the others to safely depart. Momo asserts that the inhabitants of Wano must be prepared to defend themselves against adversaries if they are to safeguard their land by entrusting their safety to those who are about to leave. Mothersuke’s “childish” remarks and dreams are mocked by Ryokugyu, who claims he had never expected a dragon to be “that humiliating.” Momonosuke’s Blast Breath was used effectively on the Admiral as a result of Momonosuke’s reaction to this. As Akazaya and Yamato flee, Ryokugyu stares in disbelief at Momo. In the midst of Denjiro’s criticism of the new shogun for his poor aim, Yamato is taken aback by Momo’s command of his dragon powers.
Another blast of Blast Breath is fired at the Admiral, destroying his tree body in the process. This Ryokugyu continues to fight as the sprout grows into the new Ryokugyu that has been born. Teasingly calling Momonosuke a “Kaido want tobe,” he threatens to gouge off his teeth, nose, and tail if he doesn’t stop. Black lightning appears from afar in One Piece Chapter 1055, leading Ryokugyu to become immobilised in agony. It’s only then that he recognises it is Conqueror’s Haki, and he deduces Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates are involved. Officers are pleading with their commander to stop the Red Force (the ship carrying the crew) from causing any more rookies to pass out in the waters near Wano. “Targeting [the new leaves] that just altered pirate history… is distasteful,” adds Shanks after he won’t brand Ryokugyu disgusting. As he says this, the artwork for One Piece Chapter 1055 depicts flashbacks of his time with Luffy, Momonosuke, and a startling surprise: Uta (whose unusual hairdo makes this obvious). An enraged Shanks is shown up close before he appears to mock Ryokugyu from a distance by asking whether he’s terrified of the “New Era” approaching. Before withdrawing and declaring he has no intention of attacking Shanks and his crew at this time, the Admiral transforms back into his regular shape. Celebrations break out among the Akazaya, Momonosuke, and Yamato, as the new Shogun yells out in joy.
One Piece Chapter 1055 goes to the Flower Capital, where Hiyori and Otoko are still celebrating with Brook, Usopp, Chopper, and Franky. Several thousand miles away, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe are celebrating Ryokugyu’s departure by sitting on the ground and reminiscing. Next, the gang gleefully expresses its admiration for Momonosuke’s accomplishments and its pride in him, before addressing the terrifying Conqueror’s Haki they had felt. Luffy smiles when the Red Force exits Wano’s waters in the last panel of One Piece Chapter 1055, and he notes that a “familiar face popped in [his] brain.” Chapter 1055 is an excellent follow-up to the series’ return from hiatus in the previous issue, and it’s much better than expected. One Piece Chapter 1055 is a much-anticipated issue, with lots of plot, character, and cameo appearances (both expected and surprising). One of the most interesting features of One Piece Chapter 1055 is Momonosuke’s maturity in his struggle against Ryokugyu. Despite the Admiral’s mockery, he is still eight years old in his mind, which only underscores how mature his hopes and goals for the country are. With the introduction of Ancient Wano, One Piece Chapter 1055 provides a clear definition of what it means to open Wano’s frontiers. Such information is always welcomed by fans, and this one has been no exception.
