Several panels linked to AMC’s iconic series The Walking Dead and its spin-offs and fans are taking place today at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The last season of AMC’s long-running series, The Walking Dead, was teased at the panel for Season 11 Part 3 of the show, which took place in Hall H. After 12 years, we finally get to see Jon Bernthal’s Shane Walsh as a pre-zombified Shane Walsh in a new trailer for this long-running television show. There is a teaser of “a horribly violent last fight” with Daryl and Carol among the characters seen in the film, which also states that “eleven seasons have led to this”. Daryl (Norman Reedus) and the group will continue their fight against Pamela Milton (Laila Robins) and her deputy governor Lance Hornsby (Laila Robins) in the series’ final eight episodes, which will pick up where the second half of the final season left off (Josh Hamilton).
Season 11’s second half ended with Lance and his forces seizing Alexandria, Hilltop, and Oceanside, with a coin flip deciding the fate of Oceanside’s residents as the season cliffhanger. TK appears in the latest teaser, hinting at an intensification of the battles as we near the conclusion. The Walking Dead Universe’s Chief Content Officer, Chris Hardwick, revealed the first look at the six-episode spin-off series Tales of the Walking Dead earlier today during his own panel at SDCC 2022, together with the cast and crew of the six-episode series. Robert Kirkman’s walker-infested world will continue to develop and grow on AMC with several spin-off shows. Some of his other work includes the already-airing Fear the Walking Dead, The Isle of the Dead, which will follow Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohen) to a devastated Manhattan, and an as-yet-untitled series about Daryl Dixon.
The 3rd episode of The Walking Dead Season 11 will premiere on AMC’s TKTK. The series’ approaching conclusion has a stunning new trailer, which you can see below.
