The legendary filmmakers Tim Miller, Andrew Stanton, and Chad Stahelski joined Steve Weintraub at the San Diego Comic-Con to talk about their films and forthcoming projects. Stahelski shocked fans at the panel with a first peek at the next John Wick 4 action picture, which is still a year away. With the new footage and the first poster, fans were given a glimpse of Keanu Reeves wielding nunchucks.
This is the 4th instalment of a series that began in 2014 when Jason Reeves first debuted on the big screen as John Wick—a former hitman who returns to the criminal underground after being kidnapped by Russian thugs.
After losing a beloved pet, returning to the business of killing is a totally normal response. The release date of John Wick 4 was initially set for May 2022, however, due to production issues, it has now been postponed until March 24th, 2023. Laurence Fishburne, who starred with Reeves in the Matrix trilogy, will reprise his role as John Wick in this new film. Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgrd, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada and Scott Adkins have all recently disclosed fresh details about their characters and will be returning in the film, as will Ian McShane and Lance Reddick’s Charon.
Wick practising and taking out a variety of bad guys were among the highlights of the trailer for John Wick 4, which lasted for around a minute and featured the nunchucks that were featured on the movie’s poster today. There was a connection to the first photograph that was posted earlier this week when Fishburne’s Bowery King was seen blowing out a candle. This teaser is sure to pique the interest of moviegoers everywhere. Ballerina, the Ana de Armas-starring spin-off of Promising Young Woman, was confirmed earlier this month to have been written by Emerald Fennell, the writer of Promising Young Woman. Puppies. Families. In the underworld, this is the thing that drives people to despair.
On the 24th of March 2023, John Wick 4 will be released in cinemas.
