Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to the realm of the supernatural in the upcoming season of True Detective. Ahead of the premiere of Paramount+’s new series, Wolf Pack, Deadline reported that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress will join the show’s executive production team. As part of the Teen Wolf: The Movie event at San Diego Comic-Con today, Gellar will announce the news personally. For those familiar with the world of Comic-Con, Gellar’s appearance is sure to thrill and excite and excite. Wolf Pack is a spin-off of the Teen Wolf series and is based on the books written by Edo Van Belkom, who also wrote the series. Armani Jackson and Bella Shepard are two normal adolescents whose lives are turned upside down after a wildfire ravages their California town.
In addition to putting their lives back together after the natural disaster has torn them apart, the youths and the rest of the residents of the tranquil town will now meet a magical entity whose slumber was disturbed by the roaring flames. Kristin Ramsey, a no-nonsense member of the investigative team, will be played by Gellar, who will join as a newcomer to the ensemble. Her job is to find a youngster who they believe ignited the horrific fire and awoke the otherworldly creature that is currently ravaging Los Angeles. After the previously announced cast of Jackson, Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson, and Tyler Lawrence Gray, Gellar has been added to the call sheet. Jeff Davis, the show’s original creator and executive producer, wrote the show.
Jason Ensler, Joe Genier, and Mike Elliott will also serve as executive producers with Gellar. Gellar, who hasn’t been on the big screen as frequently as she once did, is returning to the small screen with this new series. It’s possible that you recognised her from Star Wars: Rebels, when she voiced the Seventh Sister “Inquisitor” not too long ago. So there are also her major parts in some of the most popular ’90s movies, such as Cruel Intentions & I Know What You Did Last Summer. As the debut episode of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer approaches its 25th anniversary, the panel for Teen Wolf: The Movie is going to be even more exciting for loyal Buffy fans.
Wolf Pack’s release date hasn’t been determined yet, but it’s likely to arrive around the end of the year.
