According to Deadline, the role of Officer Aaron Thorsen, played by Tru Valentino on ABC’s The Rookie, has been elevated to series regular for Season 5. There were 11 episodes overall devoted to Valentino’s character, who made his debut during Season 4. The fifth season of The Rookie will begin on ABC on September 5. Psychonauts 2 and Fast & Furious Spy Racers are two of Valentino’s other famous roles. The Cuphead Show!, a short television series based on the video game Cuphead, will premiere in August 2022, and he’ll be one of the voices that gamers will recognise. Crimes committed by law enforcement officers are shown in this Los Angeles Police Department rookie John Nolan, a 40-year-old who is the LAPD’s oldest new recruit.
A divorce and a bank heist unwittingly saved Nolan from becoming a police officer in his native state of Pennsylvania, so he relocates to sunny California. His character’s journey into the world of law enforcement is the focus of the episode when he completes his training. William Norcross, a real-life LAPD cop in his 40s, inspired the show’s creator Alexi Hawley to write it. In addition to Valentino, the cast includes Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Hawley is the show’s creator and executive producer. Fillion, Mark Gordon, Michelle Chapman, Bill Norcross, and Terence Paul Winter are among the other executive producers. A joint venture between Disney TV Studios and eOne, Entertainment One is responsible for the series’ production and international distribution. Valentino has established his brilliance in previous parts, so this announcement is wonderful for fans of The Rookie. It’s a unique spin on the typical police procedural drama. In addition to the fantastic ensemble of The Rookie, it will be wonderful to see Valentino’s acting abilities put in the spotlight in this show.
