Scarlet Bonds film’s production team released both the film’s release date & a new poster earlier today. It includes two new characters, both of whom will appear in the future film, on the poster. The television anime That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime was one of the most popular in recent memory within the isekai genre. For example, the adaptation team decided to capitalise on a feature-film possibility because of the series’ innovative spin on the genre and its subsequent rise in popularity. The current report is broken out in this piece, which includes details on the film and the narrative.
The release date for the movie
Scarlet Bonds crew unveiled the release date and a new poster earlier today, as previously reported. Set for November 25, 2022, is the release date of the game. Crunchyroll had previously indicated an early 2023 international release window, but no particular dates have been given as of this writing for an international release.
Because Asian nations are specifically excluded, it’s safe to assume the film will be released on November 25 in Japan and elsewhere in Asia. Hiiro and Queen Towa, two new characters appearing in the future film, are both featured in the current poster. He has horns sprouting from his head that indicate he is an “ogre survivor” with red hair and a nagamaki sword over his shoulder. At the very top of the billboard, a woman appears to be praying, with her hands clasped together in a position that suggests this. In the film’s teaser, she’s described as “a woman with strange power” who appears to be at the heart of a new storyline.
Fuse, the author of the original series, is also said to be behind the new narrative. New nation Razha (other sources say this Romanization is unofficial as of writing) will be the subject of the film, which will take place to the west of Tempest. Queen Towa is at the core of a long-running scheme involving Rimuru and his comrades, who find themselves entangled in it. Benimaru, Rimuru’s commander, and Hiiro, the aforementioned ogre survivor, also cross paths. According to their prior interactions, it appears that Benimaru and Hiiro have a history of mutual regard. But this is not the case when the forthcoming movie That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime begins.
