Sex Education, Netflix’s critically praised series, just gets better with each new season. Because of its varied cast, strong storytelling, and courageous examination of various subjects relating to societal difficulties and the dilemmas of growing up, it has received worldwide appreciation. With the fourth season of the popular television programme just around the corner, the show’s manga adaptation will provide its fans a different perspective on Moordale Secondary School.
On July 15th, Kadokawa’s Comic Bridge website released the first issue of Sex Education’s Manga series. Otis, Maeve, Eric, and other Sex Education characters will also be included in the manga series, which is illustrated by John Tarachine. Asa Butterfield plays Otis Milburn, the son of a well-known sex therapist, Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson), who is open to any talks about sexuality, gender, and sex. The information that Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey) and Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa) have given to Otis about the entire sex thing has made it possible for him to set up a clinic in his school that offers sex therapy. The manga is a light at the end of the tunnel, and just in time, following the announcement that some of the show’s most beloved characters were leaving.
All three of Ola Nyman’s co-stars, Patricia Allison’s Olivia Hanan and Tanya Reynolds’ Lily Iglehart, have already said they would not be returning for season four. Sex Education, written by Laurie Nunn, debuted in 2019 to generally excellent reviews. The programme has been a huge success because of its adult approach to issues such as abortion, teen pregnancy, sexuality, and sexual experimentation.
Aimee Lou Wood, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, Dua Saleh, Sami Outalbali, and Chinenye Ezeudu are all featured in the popular series. Season four is yet to be announced. A release date for the manga adaptation’s English dub has yet to be confirmed as well. Even said, it’s not out of the question that a manga adaptation of the British popular series may follow. There are just three seasons of the programme accessible on Netflix.
