Showtime has announced the release date for the fourth season of Desus & Mero: Offical Synopsis

Season 4 of Desus & Mero will premiere on Showtime in less than a week. Every week at the Bodega, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero will sit down with a rotating group of guests — or just the two of them — to discuss the day’s or week’s most exciting topics, including but not limited to pop culture, sports, music, and politics. Desus & Mero would no longer broadcast their programme twice weekly, as was customary at the height of the epidemic, instead doing it entirely from the comfort of their own homes.

As a result, the late-night programme will only run once per week going forward in order to provide adequate production time. During the season premiere, Denzel Washington will be the first guest to discuss his record-breaking 10th Academy Award nomination for Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, which he received for his performance in the film. Season 4 will also have Mark Wahlberg, Tom Holland, Pusha T, and Damson Idris as guest stars. Desus & Mero’s fourth season will be overseen by a new showrunner, J.D. Amato, who will also serve as executive producer.

As a producer & writer for The Chris Gethard Show, The Problem with John Stewart, and The President Show, Amato has vast expertise in late-night television and satirical comedies. First shown in 2016 as an independent series, Desus & Mero was shortly acquired by Showtime. On top of the interviews, the highly acclaimed programme also incorporates the presenters’ entertaining commentary on weird news, the testing of celebrity-made items, and the rest of their week-to-week antics. Over the course of the late-night talk show’s tenure, it has had guests including Dave Grohl, Eli Manning, Keanu Reeves, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. It launches on Showtime on March 10th, Desus & Mero Season 4.

Below is the official synopsis:
After a long friendship, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero met each other again on Twitter in the early days of the social media site. Due to their success on Viceland, they were featured on MTV, Complex, and the Bodega Boys podcast. They also had their own daily late-night programme on Viceland. To the late-night television audience, the quick-witted pair gives a unique perspective to whatever issue they choose to discuss while keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Random House published its life advice book, God-Level Knowledge Darts: Life Lessons from the Bronx, in 2020, & it quickly became a New York Times Best Seller.
