Stay away from the fire station if you can’t handle the heat! In a criminal thriller about a man’s hunt for the truth behind his brother’s death, a teaser for Netflix’s Spanish language series, High Heat, shows the dials being pushed all the way up to 10. This Mexican drama is guaranteed to raise the temperature as summer draws to a close with its depiction of steamy relationships, tangled family ties, and even a serial murderer. The series’ familial ties are emphasised in the teaser. As a sibling, Poncho (Iván Amozurrutia) is mourning the loss of his brother, who died under strange circumstances.
When the young man’s father tries to convince him that the murder of their loved one wasn’t accidental, he insists that it has something to do with the local fire station as well as a notorious serial killer (Eduardo Capetillo). Isn’t it ironic that the serial murderer in question is soon to be freed from jail? Yes, the suspected serial murderer is once again making his way around the city. He’s not going to hide, though; he’s going to the firehouse to try to clear his reputation. Even though no one believes him to be innocent, he nonetheless manages to become the fire station’s chief.
In order for the trailer to be complete, there must be some sort of romance-related issues. Poncho has also met a young girl who works at the fire station when he’s shirtless at a bar, according to the teaser. Poncho gets drawn into the fire family’s inner workings as he tries to find out what happened to his brother. This might be fatal for the young guy as he tries to unearth the truth. Donagh Gordon, Itat Cantoral, Esmeralda Pimentel, Polo Morin, Antonion Sotillo, Humberto Busto, Ana Jimena Villanueva, Plutarco Haza, Alberto Garmassi, Haydée Navarra, and Valeria Burgos will also be featured in the series. José Ignacio Valenzuela, the show’s creator, is also responsible for the critically acclaimed Spanish-language plays Who Killed Sara? and La Hija Pródiga.
Thus, telenovela-style productions with attractive women and surprising story twists are sure to delight this film’s target audience. If you’d want to see Poncho infiltrate the fire department to capture his brother’s killer, you can check out the complete High Heat video below.
