A romantic comedy starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Jon Heder is in the works. Both actors have been cast in the forthcoming thriller Plan B, according to Deadline. Piper (played by Lee) has an affair with her next-door neighbour Evan Ebert (played by Ebert) (Heder). She resolves to keep her pregnancy a secret until she finds the appropriate man to sleep with who would be a decent father for her kid when she finds out she’s pregnant. Michael Lombardi’s character, Cameron Cassidy, a businessman who shows up at the café where Piper works, is a possibility. Piper, despite Cameron’s attraction to her, begins to doubt her decision to carry out her plan. Lee also starred in HBO’s Crashing as Ali Reisen.
On MTV’s Girl Code, she was also seen. For his performance as Napoleon Dynamite, Heder is most known (directed by Jared Hess). It was resurrected in the cartoon series Napoleon Dynamite, which aired on Fox between January and March 2012. His previous projects include Tremors: Shrieker Island (directed by Don Michael Paul) and The Tiger Hunter (2016). (directed by Lena Khan). Piper’s best friend Maya will be played by Subhah Agarwal, who will also feature in the film.
Danielle Perez and Tom Berenger will also appear in the film along with Shannon Elizabeth, Kate Flannery and Daniel K. Issac. Brandon Tamburri will make his directorial debut with Plan B. In addition to co-writing the script, Tamburri is also a producer on the picture through his business Joke Zero. He remarked, “I’m pleased to finally share this piece with the world,” Tamburri said. “As a director, I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful cast and team, and I couldn’t be happier.
For both myself and Joke Zero, I am ecstatic about the company’s upcoming debut.” The script’s co-writer was Jean Monpère. For the film, DJ Dodd will serve as a producer via Future Proof Films. The script had Dodd swooning from the moment he read it. Putting together such an amazing cast is a tribute to how refreshing it was. Erika Hampson is also serving as the film’s producer. It will be executive produced by William Kay and Jerry Daigle. Plan B’s release date is still a mystery. Crashing, Lee’s previous film is presently available to stream on HBO Max for fans to enjoy.
