Actors Denise Richards, AnnaLynne McCord, and Carolina Gaitàn have been added to the cast of “Second Chance.” Release Date

According to Variety, the cast of USATV’s next female-led drama Second Chance has been cast. Deputy Alexis Ren and Encanto’s Carolina Gaitàn will join the series as well as Denise Richards, AnnaLynne McCord, and Tiffany Hines, who previously appeared in 90210 and Power Book III: Raising Kanan, respectively (Magnum P.I.). It will be a ten-episode miniseries that will air internationally at some point in the latter half of the current year. During the course of Second Chance, three domestic cleaning professionals and their clients are seen attempting to overcome their pasts in order to forge a brighter future for themselves.

Featuring a strong female lead in Gaitàn, who portrays domestic servant Marianna, the show will tackle a variety of current topics, including gender equality, immigration, and organised crime, while maintaining a positive tone with its three central characters who lean on one another for support. Marianna’s two pals Shira (Ren) and Jackie (Hines) will be at her side the entire time as she deals with “exceptional and perilous events.” Luke Goss (Blade II), Hannah Ware (The One), Jake Manley (Infamous), and Jerry Ferrara will also appear in the new series (Entourage). Executive production of the show is handled by USATV Productions.

There is currently no information about the show’s cast or staff. Carmen Ibanez in Starship Troopers was Richards’ first major role on the big screen, after her appearances in Married… with Children and Saved by the Bell. As a result, she landed prominent parts in films like The World is Not Enough, Wild Things, and Love Actually, all starring in the James Bond series. Aside from Paper Empire, she’s just returned to the small screen, starring in Saturday at the Starlight and other planned projects. As for McCord, she’s most recognised for her part on 90210, but she’s also been in several lesser films, including 2012’s Excision.

Conditions of Return will be her next on-screen appearance after Titanic 666. With the exception of Encanto and Sin Senos S Hay Paraiso, Gaitàn is most known for his roles in Spanish-language television shows like El Final del Paraiso and El Final del Paraiso. Another notable appearance on Netflix was in the critically acclaimed series Narcos, in which she made a cameo. In addition to the Andres Beltran thriller Quicksand and the Graham McTavish-led Perfidious, she is now developing two more projects.
The global release of Second Chance is scheduled for later this year.
