Right now, Rosaline is teetering on the brink of financial ruin with no visible escape route. Rosaline, on the other hand, gets a coveted slot on a popular baking show, Bake Expectations. Rosaline just has to win the tournament to ensure her financial future with the help of her ex-girlfriend and best friend Lauren and Amelie. Simple, right? On her way to the show, Rosaline gets trapped with Alain, a fellow participant. Aside from Alain, Rosaline finds herself drawn to Harry, a quiet electrician and amateur baker who causes her to reexamine many of her long-held convictions. Rosaline Palmer, which was published in May of that year and earned positive reviews from newspapers including Publishers Weekly, USA Today, Kirkus, and Entertainment Weekly, was well-received when it was first published.
