FX has recently published a new teaser for the second season of Reservation Dogs, a popular comedy-drama that chronicles the lives of Native American kids on an Oklahoma reservation. The new teaser provides us with a glimpse of what to expect from the forthcoming season, which is full of banal absurdities and heartfelt moments. On August 3, 2022, Reservation Dogs’ second season will release on Hulu. The new video starts with a tour of a roadside shop stocked with Native American-themed tchotchkes, novelty tees, and other stuff. Elva Guerra’s Jackie confronts an animatronic medicine man, who offers advice such as “do not watch two dogs get entangled together, for if you do, you will have pink-eye” and “do not hoot with the owls at night, cannot fly with the eagles in the morning.”
The body of the trailer, which follows the continued exploits of the show’s central cast of occasionally criminal but always entertaining characters, serves as a foil to the wise counsel of the animatronic. With the adolescents at the core of the plot balancing being young and having fun with more important themes like finding their place in the world when everything is stacked against them, Season 2 seems to be both touching and entertaining.
Based in Oklahoma, the sitcom boasts an almost all Indigenous cast and crew. It is filmed in Oklahoma. Critics and audiences alike found the first season of the show a smash, receiving a Peabody and two Independent Spirit Awards. The show has been nominated for several awards, including the Critics’ Choice Television Awards and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Awards. Devery Jacobs, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Lane Factor, and Paulina Alexis feature in Reservation Dogs.
Additionally, Sarah Podemski, Zahn McClarnon, and Dallas Goldtooth are also regular cast members in the series. On Hulu, the show first debuted in 2021 as an FX Original Series. August 3, 2022, is the day that Reservation Dogs will release on Hulu alone. Earlier this year, a new trailer and poster were unveiled for the upcoming second season. The second season will begin airing on the app on August 3, 2022, and last through September 28, 2022. There’s a long wait ahead of you for the second season, but you can always watch the first one on Hulu.
