Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the second in the Pretty Little Liars franchise on HBO A new trailer has recently been released that explains more about the new community of Millwood and how the new generation of tiny liars was sucked into the horrors of A. The new film teases the titular “original sin” of the title, while instantly sending the new characters through hell. An entirely new community with its own dark secrets awaits in the spinoff, far from the original Rosewood locale. As you’ll see in the trailer, it’s a terrifying plunge. Bailee Madison (Madison), Chandler Kinney (Kinney), Zaria (Pyles) and Maia Reficco (Pyles) all make brief appearances in the new footage, which quickly builds the suspense by teasing how A stalks the town, with Imogen Adams (Madison) and her mother discovering the calling card of a bloody A in their bathroom.
Everything else reads like a typical teen melodrama. Everybody’s getting involved in Spirit Week, Imogen swears to be Spirit Queen, and the five pals arrive at the prom-like dance dressed to the nines and eager to have a good time! A burst into the party brings everything to a halt. To continue on this voyeurism, the trailer shows A as a mere bystander in the lives of the girls, just like in the original series’ premiere. Despite A’s love of texting, his demeanour is eerily similar to Michael Myers, as he lurks around the ladies’ rooms, taunting them as they go about their daily routines. The trailer also hints at the town’s sad past, which has been rumoured about for some time. Angela Waters, a teenage girl who committed herself at a party, sparked a series of calamitous occurrences in the community. The fact that their mothers were there at the incident further binds the liars together.
Angela’s death and the daughters of the five friends who watched it all remain a mystery, although it is possible that they are linked. It’s time for a new batch of ‘Little Liars’ to join the ranks of Mallory, Sharon, Leal, Elena, Lea, Eric, and Alex Aiono in the series. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alums have written and executive produced Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. Lindsey Calhoon and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa have joined forces Warner Bros Television has partnered with Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment to develop the series. Sara Shepard wrote the books on which the programme is based, and Alloy was the company in charge of turning them into a book series.
I. Marlene King, who conceived the original Pretty Little Liars series and has since been engaged in its spinoffs, is also on board to executive produce. Michael Grassi, Caroline Baron, and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo are also on the panel. A three-episode arc of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will premiere on July 28 on HBO Max. The next two episodes of the season will air on August 4 and 11 before the season ends with three episodes on August 18.
