A fourth season of Evil, the popular psychological thriller, has been ordered by Netflix. A few weeks ago, Paramount+ began releasing brand new episodes of Season 3 every week. Psychologists, priests, and scientists form a team to look into alleged paranormal activity, and this is where the evil takes centre stage. Because of the strange events that they come across, the main characters’ religious and scientific views are put to the test in this sci-fi series. Ratings on Rotten Tomatoes for the first and second seasons of the series were both “certified fresh,” at 92 and 95 per cent respectively.
David’s pledge of virginity is broken when he kisses Katja Herber’s character Kristen, which might complicate their professional relationship in Season 3. Before transferring to Paramount+ for the second season, the sitcom aired on CBS in 2019. At the moment, new episodes of Evil Season 3 are being released every Sunday on Paramount+. In comparison to the prior two seasons, which each included 13 episodes, Season 3 will end on August 14th with only 10 episodes. It’s produced by CBS Studios and helmed by Robert and Michelle King, a husband and wife duo. Other sitcoms featuring this dynamic pair, such as The Good Wife and its sequel The Good Fight, have been huge successes.
On top of that, they produced the short-lived COVID-19 pandemic-themed TV series The Bite and served as executive producer on Showtime’s Your Honor with Bryan Cranston. Herbers, Colter, and Aasif Mandvi are the three major protagonists of Evil. Kurt Fuller, Andrea Martin, Michael Emerson, Brooklyn Shuck, Christine Lahti, Skyler Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dayla Knap make up the rest of the supporting cast.
Nicole Clements, president of Paramount+ Original Scripted Series, said this in a statement:
Season three of Evil has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it has consistently been one of Netflix’s top-five most-watched original series and acquisition drivers. ” When it comes to season four, we can’t wait to be horrified by what Robert and Michelle [King] have in store for us.”
Until further notice, there have been no additional casting announcements or production schedules for Season 4.
