The information that Kaido and Big Mom will not be returning was established in the previous chapter of One Piece. Now that they have successfully defeated the Emperor of the Seas, the Straw Hat Pirates may finally celebrate their victory. We were all not surprised to learn that Momonosuke has been appointed as the new Shogun of the Wano Country and that Yamato has become a member of Luffy’s crew. However, not all of the characters made it through the drawn-out conflict that took place on the island of Onigashima. Both Ashura and Izo have been revealed to have passed away in One Piece, as early teasers for Chapter 1052 had suggested.
Following the conclusion of the battle between Luffy and Kaido, fans of One Piece are left wondering whether or not the Wano arc will ever come to a close. Additionally, the community is excited to witness the aftermath of the fight that took place on Onigashima. Now that we have reached Chapter 1052, we will advance one week in the Wano arc and learn whose characters have been killed off. It is interesting to note that the rumours about the upcoming chapter of One Piece arrived a bit early, and according to the rumours, Chapter 1052 will be named “New Morning.” Germas is seen having a talk with Caesar on the cover of the book, while the first few lines of the chapter have Hawkins having a discussion with Drake.
It has been shown by Hawkins that was referring to himself when he stated that there is only a one per cent probability of survival for a single individual. In addition to this, Hawkins claims that he correctly anticipated Kaido’s defeat through the usage of his cards, but that he kept this information to himself out of pride. Following the combat, the chapter jumps ahead seven days, during which time we see Wano continuing to recuperate and make headway. When we get to this point in the story, we find out that Ashura and Izo did not make it through the entire experience.
Along with the fact that Yamato has joined up with the Straw Hat Pirates, this chapter will also feature a few additional fanservice-oriented moments. In the final scene, an admiral in the Marines named Ryokugyu may be seen travelling to Wano. We won’t be able to see Ryokugyu’s face, but the Greenbull will have a flower strapped to his back that he utilises to propel himself forward and fly. As a result, the chapter will close on a suspenseful note, leaving readers to speculate about Ryokugyu’s next move after he reaches Wano. On the other hand, this coming weekend, when the chapter officially debuts on Viz Media and Manga Plus, we will get all of our questions answered.
