The final showdown between Kinji Hakari and Hajime Kashimo in the Tokyo No. 2 Colony arc begins in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 186. Only a few lines of dialogue are exchanged between the two main characters during the course of the chapter, which is almost entirely focused on action. In spite of this, the narration is used to explain the effects of Hakari’s Jackpot in its entirety. The fight in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 186 appears to be far more one-sided than the readers had expected. As a result of this, Hakari is so feared by the Jujutsu community and is supposedly capable of matching Yuta’s powers. Even so, not much is known about his Cursed Technique in this chapter.
In the final chapter, Panda bids farewell to his two auxiliary cores, who had become like family to him. Consciousness was maintained even after being decapitated by a sword Kashimo’s questions about Sukuna remained unanswered even in this state of denial. Hakari arrived with a burst of Cursed Energy at that exact moment and prepared to fight Kashimo there and then.
Hakari vs. Kashimo battle
A fight has already broken out between Hakari and Kashimo in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 186. While Hakari continues to punch Kashimo, an unexplained melody can be heard playing in the background. When the Latter uses the Cursed Energy trait and the Cursed Technique, it is difficult to rely solely on physical attacks, but the victim should feel an electric shock after every strike. Hakari’s Cursed Energy output is so high that Kashimo doesn’t feel any shock from it. Kashimo is impressed and asks for Hakari’s name after they have introduced themselves. To show his appreciation, Kashimo gives Hakari his 100-point salute. In exchange for using these points, he promises to reveal everything he knows about Sukuna to Kashimo if he loses.
At that exact moment, Hakari’s Cursed Energy is boosted, and the fight resumes in earnest. The attack is unleashed after several strikes from Kashimo’s Cursed Technique. Hakari’s left arm is severed by the attack. However, when Kashimo attacks again, Hakari’s left arm is restored, allowing him to successfully parry the incoming attack.
Winnings from the Idle Death Gamble
In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 186, Hakari explains that he hit the Jackpot before Kashimo arrived, and Kashimo wonders if this is the result of the Reverse Cursed Technique. One round of Unlimited Cursed Energy gives him the song’s length of 4 minutes and 11 seconds, which is the Jackpot’s duration. He can’t use the Reverse Cursed Technique, but Hakari’s unlimited cursed energy heals him constantly and automatically. For that period of time, Hakari is practically invincible. His Cursed Energy and Cursed Technique are refilled when the Jackpot ends, allowing him to cast the Domain again and continue to cast it until he has hit another Jackpot. Kashimo notices that the music has stopped and Hakari’s Cursed Energy has diminished. Idle Death Gamble is cast again by Hakari at this point.
The last words
Chapter 186 of Jujutsu Kaisen is riddled with inconsistencies, chief among them the chronology. In his fight with Charles, Hakari had struck gold. If he used his Kogane to track down Panda’s location, he must have arrived and engaged Kashimo for a significant amount of time, including their brief conversation, in 4 minutes and 11 seconds at the most. Hakari could only have arrived at Panda’s location after fighting someone else and winning a second battle of the day, which seems unlikely.
In any case, the events of chapter 186 of Jujutsu Kaisen demonstrate just how formidable Hakari truly is. Yuta or even Gojo could be defeated in theory, if he keeps hitting jackpots. As a result, there will be an infinite supply of Cursed energy for as long as there are jackpots to win. As for Yuta, she’ll run out of Cursed energy eventually. He can use the Jackpot’s effect outside his domain, but he doesn’t need to incorporate his Cursed Technique into it. This is another interesting point. Currently, Kashimo appears to be utterly outclassed. This fight should be one of the fastest in the Culling Game Saga unless Akutami has something even more impressive and sinister planned as Kashimo’s secret weapon. A sorcerer who has been revered for 400 years should not be easily defeated.
