Another Japanese anime is Mushoku Tensei. This blockbuster anime was inspired by a series of light book series in Japan. This series of light novels are written by Rifujin na Magonote, with illustrations by Shirotaka. Reincarnated as Rudeus Greyrat, a gloomy, unemployed man who dies in the real world and returns to the fantasy world with his memories intact, he plans to enjoy his new existence without remorse. It initially appeared on the Shsetsuka ni Nar book website.
After a year, Media Factory started producing and selling the series under the MF Books banner. Drawings from a Pixiv user going by the pseudonym Shirotak adorned the pages of this book. Monthly Comic Flapper published Yuka Fujikawa’s manga adaptation for the first time in June 2014. The tankobon volumes of the manga were licenced for North American translation by Seven Seas Entertainment. The business also owns the rights to the original light novels. Syosetu’s rankings show that the online book is a fan favourite.
Over 5 million copies of the Japanese light novel series have been sold throughout the world as of March 2022. Studio Bind’s anime television series adaptation ran from January to December 2021. There is also a second season out. Both critics and viewers agreed that Mushoku Tensei: The Animated Series was one of the year’s best shows. No word yet on the 3rd season of Mushoku Tensei, which is currently under development. The release date for the 3rd season of Mushoku Tensei
It was announced on March 15th, 2019 that an anime adaptation of the series is now under development, but no details were provided. In October of this year, a website and a Twitter account devoted to the show were launched, revealing that it will be a television show debuting in 2020. Kazutaka Sugiyama created the characters, while Manabu Okamoto directed and authored it at Studio Bind. EGG FIRM and Frontier Works collaborated on the original concept. To design this adaptation, Nobuhiro Osawa, president and producer of EGG FIRM, who worked on the Sword Art Online and DanMachi adaptations, contacted Frontier Works after reading the first twelve volumes.
After discovering the series in 2018 and reading the books, he found them fascinating. It was necessary for White Fox and EGG FIRM to work together to create Studio Bind so they could continue this project in a methodical and long-term manner for the animation of this piece. In June 2020, the show’s premiere date was moved back to 2021. The first 11 episodes of the series will air on Tokyo MX, KBS, BS, and finally SUN in Japan between January 11 and March 22, 2021.
