Everyone realised that Arthur is in a lot more difficult than they previously anticipated after reading the last chapter. We begin to see why Greysunders is so eager to have Arthur removed from harm’s path. If they succeed, they will risk the lives of not only Arthur but those of the whole continent of Greysunder and Glayder. There doesn’t appear to be any way out for Arthur at the moment. However, we’ll have to wait and see if the forthcoming episode offers any rays of hope for our hero. We had no idea Arthur was a part of a much larger plot than we first thought. Since then, there appears to be no way out of this situation for him. The Beginning After the End Chapter 145 is eagerly anticipated by fans hoping to see Arthur’s fortunes change.

TBATE Chapter 144 Summary
Upon entering the prison, Arthur discovers that Director Goodsky has also been imprisoned. Arthur informs her about all that transpired at the Xyrus Academy because she was oblivious of it all. Arthur, on the other hand, is unable to comprehend why the council chose to lock her up. In response to her question, Arthur explains that Lucas was on the same medicines as everyone else at the school for a period of time.
In spite of this, Arthur claims that he was more strong and more capable of carrying out all of his actions in full awareness. In response to Goodsky’s question regarding Draneeve, he responds that he couldn’t see him. She claims that the initiative is progressing more quickly than she expected. The director adds that she is obligated to keep her knowledge of the situation a secret. Dawsid has arrived to discuss the present meeting with Blaine. Blaine assures him of their votes, saying he recalls their pact-like it was yesterday.
And that Arthur was the one who saved everyone’s lives at school, according to him. Once they start talking about someone they refer to as “Him,” the conversation turns serious. Arthur, according to Dawsid, must be delivered to “him.” Blaine accuses them of betraying their own continent, but Dawsid counters that the continent is in danger and that they need to focus on their own survival for the time being. The riches, power, and prosperity “he” will bring should be a consideration, according to Dawsid’s words. Blaine claims that he is simply following “him” in order to protect his family from Dawsid.
Later, Blaine keeps drinking alone after Dawsid leaves. He recalls his father’s intoxication with power and how Blaine vowed to himself that he would never forget the necessity of having power in order to defend his people. After a few more drinks, Blaine collapses to the floor and apologises to Arthur for his involvement in their plot.
