In the most recent chapters, we’ve seen various fights at Onigashima come to a close. All eyes are now on Luffy and Kaido’s fight after Zoro and Sanji finally defeated their adversary. After witnessing their captain’s Gear 5 metamorphosis, the Straw Hat Pirates are certainly taken aback. However, in order to defeat the Emperor of the Seas, Luffy will have to make use of all of the new abilities at his disposal. Eiichiro Oda has revealed that Luffy and Kaido’s conflict is nearing its conclusion, despite Kaido’s continued resistance. Indeed, based on Chapter 1049 spoilers, it appears that the current arc is coming to a close.
Chapter 1049’s official publication is eagerly anticipated by One Piece fans following the previous chapter’s dramatic cliffhanger. There have already been a few spoilers of the upcoming chapter on the internet. While the leaks don’t tell much, we do learn the results of Luffy and Kaido’s most recent attacks on the island.
The Spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1049
There have been some rumours that “The World We Should Aspire to” is the title of the next chapter. Kaido and Luffy will meet in the upcoming chapter, where Luffy informs Kaido what kind of world he wants to build. Someone has set fire to Niji and Yonji’s books on the cover of Chapter 1049. After seeing flashbacks to Momonosuke, Luffy, and Yamato in the current plot arc, the following chapter will finally show us a flashback to Kaido’s past. In the Kingdom of Vodka, Whitebeard tells Kaido that Rocks wants to meet with him.
“Cloud of the Flames” begins to fade from the sky as the water released by Raizou begins to spill out of the castle. We were all relieved when Momonosuke began to form a fresh cloud. To wrap things up, the chapter returns to Luffy and Kaido’s duel. The last thing Luffy says before he strikes Kaido is that in his utopia, no one would go hungry. Straw Hats pirates’ captain then punched Kaido, who fell to the ground in Flower City’s Flower District.
No matter how many times Kaido tries to get back up and fight back, the tables have now turned against him. In a flashback, Kaido tells the King that he can only be defeated by Joy Boy, and the chapter hints at the final ending.
