The latest leaked spoilers for One Piece chapter 1048 are promising a terrible death for a prominent character that is still many days away from being released. The manga business has never seen anything like the enthusiasm and excitement produced by the One Piece series. While the introduction of a new chapter is a major event, leaks from the raw scans are also leaking online, causing a great deal of anticipation for the next release.
Even if a significant character is killed off in the leaked leaks, it’s still a good idea to keep an eye out for these kinds of things. A big (and horrific) finale for a certain character has been hinted at in leaked spoilers following the manga’s brief pause for Golden Week.
MAJOR DEATHS ARE TEASED IN CHAPTER 1048 SPOILERS
One Piece manga instalment 1048 may still be a few months away, but that hasn’t deterred social media users from posting updates on the series on a daily basis. Popular and trustworthy Twitter page “Opspiller” posted on May 3rd the leaked spoilers for One Piece chapter 1048, which contained clues that a key character was set to be killed off in an incredibly gruesome way. 20 years” is the chapter’s title, while “The ones in Chocolate Town are presumably the Germa!” appears on the cover. Mothersuke starts pushing Onigashima in an attempt at delaying or even preventing Luffy’s forthcoming assault but can’t keep up with the vast island’s weight, so he resorts to creating the Fire Clouds in an attempt to aid.
A fire dragon, Kaidou appears, his body completely enveloped in flames, melting the Onigashima Horn with a single swipe of its long tail. After that, Kaidou and Luffy both unleash new attacks, dubbed Shoryu: Kaen Hakke and Monkey God Gun, against one another. Luffy uses one arm to cover his face from Kaidou’s dragon’s jaws opening wide, and the other to jam a largely closed fist almost completely inside the dragon’s mouth.
The vanquished samurai are pleading with Usopp to take out Kaidou while there is still a chance in the castle. After Kawamatsu recalls Oden’s execution 20 years prior, we are treated to a flashback scene. Oden had a son, and Kaidou killed the locals who sought to protect Momonosuke in the flashback. “Anyone who dares disobey the Shogun,” warns Orochi, “may be put to death.” They add that they have already executed Oden’s wife. Kaidou and Orochi set Oden’s castle ablaze after discovering that she was the lone survivor of the siege.
The Wanokuni Daimyo, led by Tonoyasu and the three samurai Yamato encountered in the cave just a few chapters ago, come together to attack both Kaidou and Orochi. As a result, the country begins to disintegrate and the citizenry is enslaved. Komurasaki is being kidnapped by Orochi, who is still on fire and attempting to snatch her before he loses all of his strength. Denjiro appears out of nowhere and promptly chops off Orochi’s head.
“May Orochi vanish” and “I want to leave this torment” are some of the wishes of those who have been enslaved or slaughtered by him. They are plotting fresh and strong strikes on each other towards the end of the chapter.
TOGETHER WITH CHAPTER 1048, TENSION WILL RISE.
One Piece manga fans have to wait a bit longer, as chapter 1048 has been postponed until after Japan’s Golden Week. Chapter 1048 will continue to be dissected and discussed by the worldwide community even when Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is taking a vacation for the holidays.
Unfortunately, the One Piece anime series took a vacation last week and did not release a new episode on May 1st as many fans may have expected. Japanese Golden Week, a national holiday, prompted a short hiatus in both the manga and TV adaptation. A Special Episode to Admire Zoro-senpai & Sanji-senpai, however, is a filler episode that is nevertheless technically a fresh episode for the fans of the series. Secret Room 2 of Barto’s! Fortunately, the main plot will return on Sunday, May 8th, with the commencement of the One Piece anime episode 1016.
