A well-written anime, My Hero Academia doesn’t merely revolve around the protagonist. They all have a strong purpose and amazing character depth, including most of Izuku’s peers. Characters are dealing with previous pain, heroes squaring up against scary villains, and our protagonist is continuously pushing the boundaries of his newfound strength at the moment.

The whole emphasis of this chapter is the long-awaited Todoroki against Todoroki battle. It’s now time for Shoto and Dabi to meet face-to-face. In bringing Dabi to justice, Shoto has a greater goal in mind: he wants to put a stop to this family member’s atrocities before any more innocent lives are lost. A flashback in which Endeavor tells Touya that his potential is greater than his own leads to Dabi repeatedly calling Shoto names and using the Flash-fire fist against him.
As a last resort, Shoto unleashes his Hell Spider. Shoto gets flung over a neighbouring structure by Dabi’s Jet Stream for a long period. Recalling that conversation, Shoto recalls saying that it was time for him to take the lead in bringing Dabi to justice, not for his father’s sake, but for his own. He tells Dabi that he will kill him before he harms anybody else, and the scene transitions back to the present.
