[New] Spoilers for Attack on Titan Manga Chapter 132 Review, Raw Scans, Leaks, Storyline, Release Date, Plot, Recap & Much More Updates to Know

After over a year of a pause for the Attack on Titan anime, we’ve chosen to continue reading the manga. Attack on Titan manga Chapter 132, “The Wings of Freedom,” is being reviewed today. Only Attack on Titan Chapter 131 is mentioned in this article, thus be aware that this page contains spoilers. If you’ve just seen Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 2, this post contains SPOILERS because it’s written for a MANGA audience. This time around, I had no idea what to anticipate following the last chapter’s gut-wrenching look at the Rumbling—a horror so vast that Eren was forced to detach himself from it. Even while this chapter didn’t have the same level of utter horror as Chapter 131, it was no less painful. As Hizuru’s airship tries to reach the mainland, the crew’s tale takes centre stage in this new chapter.

Everyone Is Experiencing Extreme Devastation
As long as they can get the airship airborne, would they try to save Hizuru in any way? That’s all Lady Azumabito asks. It’s a legitimate request, and they’ll do their best to satisfy it. However, nothing is certain in this post-apocalyptic wasteland. The rest of Liberio has already died, and Falco is experiencing a nervous breakdown as a result. In reality, Pieck admits that the Rumbling had already levelled most of the Marleyan continent. Even she is unable to soothe Falco since she is completely overwhelmed. Marley’s loved ones have already lost most of their belongings.

Similarly, Annie has opted out of the bout against Eren. She was never treated well by the human race. Persecution has been the only thing she’s ever known, and the one person she cared about has perished. Because even if the Rumbling could be stopped, Eldians would be doomed at this stage. In other words, she doesn’t understand the point of all of this. In some aspects, her reaction is identical to Jean’s in the “Long Night” episode several chapters earlier. Contrary to Jean, Annie has always been devoted only to her father (by her own admission.)

So she just doesn’t see the sense in continuing to battle. The reaction from Mikasa is fascinating to me. When she calms down, she asks, “When did this begin?” But then she responds, “Never mind” and indicates that she understands that Annie has been through enough. Mikasa and the Paradisians, on the other hand, suffered greatly. I seriously doubt it…) As a result of the simmering sentiments between Annie and Armin, she tells her that Armin is accompanying them.

Mikasa is adamant that she will not murder Eren
It’s understandable that Mikasa isn’t more adamant about persuading Annie to join them. In the following panel, Mikasa states that she has no plans to assassinate Eren after Annie promised her that she would do it if necessary. Still. She makes it clear that she has no intention of killing him, but rather of bringing him back to life. Something to consider. So many of her fellow Jaegerists were murdered by Mikasa when she battled them. The fact that she just had to murder them for the simple reason that they were pursuing Eren is remarkable. However, it appears that she will not go too far and murder the guy she loves, no matter what happens.

That’s clearly a no-no for her. She’s also ditched her scarf, although she’s still carrying it about. Is she going to give Eren the scarf to see if it would help him remember who he used to be? The following scene features Levi labouring to regain his strength and telling Armin that Yelena’s fever has broken and that she can communicate again, which is an unusual development. There was no mention of Yelena’s illness before to this panel, therefore I’m wondering whether the manga was edited and certain panels were omitted? (Also, let me take a moment to congratulate Levi on his return.) He subsequently discovers that he can still grasp his weapons even if he is missing a finger or more.

Despite my scepticism, it appears that Yelena has some insight into Eren’s future plans. In order to eliminate not just Marley’s but also other nations’ military fleets and capabilities, she advised Eren that they would need to employ a minor Rumbling. For the remaining Paradisians, this would keep them away long enough for them to die in peace.

Would Erwin’s Death Have Changed Anything?
There may be an airship research facility in Southern Marley, though, that she warned him off. When Rumbling heads to the area, she suspects Eren will use it to annihilate all air power in the area. It’s odd because my mental image of the Rumbling was it travelling in a straight line around the globe. This looks to be a calculated move on Eren’s part, with him first targeting Marley (and that small child) before moving on to other targets.

Yelena still regards Zeke as a hero for his brilliant scheme, and she is desperate for the others to see her devotion to Zeke and her admiration for his ideas. Isayama has built a really difficult environment here.) In order to achieve peace, there is no alternative that does not include the loss of many lives.) In the end, Hange admitted that she didn’t have a viable strategy for the future that might persuade Eren otherwise.

This begs the question… If they had spared Erwin instead of Armin, what would have happened? Is it possible that Erwin, who was so much more adept at planning than Hange was, might have discovered it away? Keeping an eye on Falco and Gabi is Lady Azumabito’s job (and subsequently Annie’s as well). In my opinion, it’s odd. Falco is now a Titan, and Gabi has already proved herself to be a strong fighter.

Even before then, they’ve already lost Annie to the conflict. Considering how well these kids have performed thus far, I feel they should have been given the option to board the airship of their choosing. What surprised me the most was the sincerity with which Annie and Reiner said their goodbyes. She and Armin’s eyes communicated volumes, as did the words they used to communicate.

It’s possible that they may have been doing something. Alternatively, was Armin just reacting to Bertholdt’s sensations inside of him? Even Hange admits he has reservations about their decision as they prepare to set abroad. Unless the Rumbling is halted, the Eldians will continue to face persecution. That Magath’s final command was to work together, Pieck informs her.
