Chapter 180 of Jujutsu Kaisen recap
The fight between Yuta and Ryu ended in the chapter preceding this one. Yuta can only unleash the high-powered cursed energy blast when Rika has fully unveiled herself. Even yet, Yuta is a weaker opponent than Ryu in this situation. Both of them start launching long-range strikes against each other. Yuta is fully aware that from long-range, Ryu would easily defeat him, so he begins to shorten the gap between them. Ryu uses Uro’s method to deflect his Granite Cannon into the air and land on the ground after blasting Yuta with it.

Witnessing Yuta perform Uro’s cursed technique for the first time is a nice surprise for Ryu. While he is questioning Yuta’s true strength, he attacks him with the Thin Ice Breaker attack, while Rika attacks Ryu with her own Thin Ice Breaker attack. A single punch from Ryu pushes Rika to her physical limits. In hand-to-hand combat, Ryu and Yuta begin to battle one other. At that point, the Granite Cannon attack on Ryu that Yuta had previously resisted is launched. He’s now realised Yuta used Uro’s cursed method on him, and he’s stated that his stomach is now entirely content.
