The Morrowind chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online has been made available for free to gamers who already possess the main game. As part of the continuing Breton tale, The High Isle will send players to a previously unknown island. This update comes only months before ESO’s next big expansion. However, despite the fact that many players abandoned the game after its somewhat lacklustre start, many others stayed and helped build it into one of today’s most popular MMOs.
ESO has become one of the MMO community’s favourites and a hallmark of the genre thanks to ZeniMax Online Studios taking player feedback into account more than ever before. ESO’s longevity has even led to comparisons to New World and other more recent MMOs. ZeniMax Online Studios has announced that, as of today, the much-lauded Morrowind expansion chapter will be available to all players free of charge. Prior to the release of High Isle later this summer, ZeniMax took a decision to assist players to keep up with Tamriel’s storyline.
Often referred to be ESO’s greatest DLC, Morrowind is plenty of material based on the original game, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind; hence, it’s a great place to start for new players. If you want to get your hands on this stuff, ZeniMax has stated that it will be available “for the foreseeable future.” If a player’s account does not instantly show the DLC as registered, they can get it for free via the Crown Store in the game. The Warden character class, which was initially introduced with the chapter’s introduction in 2017, will not be part of the promotion.
Even though some material has been made free, players who have ESO Plus, the game’s content subscription service, will not see any benefit from the move. Morrowind’s chapter was a fantastic move by ZeniMax Online Studios to draw in new players and entice old ones to look forward to High Isle’s release later this year. . Although the material is over five years old, the offer encourages cautious or potential consumers to give ESO a try and expands the game’s audience.
