Chapter 248 of Tokyo Revengers returns this week after being postponed last week due to a Covid-19 fear. Tokyo Revenji @tokyorevenji has posted five pages of raw scans, including a double spread. After Mitsuya, Hakkai, Chifuyu, Atsushi, Inui Seishu, and Kawaragi Senju square off against one another in the raw scans, as can be seen in the video above. A flashback sequence shows Mitsuya meeting the Haitani brothers for the first time.
Senju and Haruchiyo go head-to-head in Tokyo Revengers chapter 248’s raw scans, while Inupi takes on an unexpected foe.
Atsushi takes on Madarame Shion in the last chapter, while Chifuyu finds herself in a duel with Mochizuki Kanji. Senju and Inupi continue to eliminate Kantou Manji members one by one. When Inupi sees Kokonoi off in the distance, he runs up and greets him. Ran ambushes Mitsuya while he takes on Haitani Rindou. In the face of the brothers, Hakkai joins him.
Scans and spoilers for Tokyo Revengers 248
Mitsuya’s initial encounter with the Haitani Brothers is shown in the first two pages of leaked scans. He escorted his two younger sisters, Luna and Mana, to the Azabu festival when he was just 13 years old. There, he encountered a ruckus made by a band of criminals commanded by the notorious Haitani brother. Mitsuya was clearly struck by the brothers’ atmosphere, believing them to be cool, as seen in the panel. While Rindou was focused on the task at hand, Ran seemed to be aware of Mitsuya’s gaze.
Senju also runs into her long-lost brother in another location. Haruchiyo brandishes a steel pipe and labels her an eyesore. Even when he calls him “Brother (Haru-Nii),” Senju is hesitant to engage in combat with him. When Inupi approaches Koko, he makes it clear that he won’t tolerate another attempt by his friend to flee. Koko, on the other hand, is hesitant to engage in combat with Inupi and tells him to quit encouraging him. Wakasa Imaushi intervenes and tells Koko to remain back, preventing them from fighting. He takes on Inui as his major opponent, and the erstwhile friend is noticeably surprised.
Before chapter 248 of Tokyo Revengers, Mitsuya has never been mentioned as having met the Haitani brothers prior to the Tenjiku Arc in Tokyo Revengers. However, this adds a new element to their battles, and notably validates Ran’s taunts at every contact. We all knew Senju would have to meet her brother at some point in time. Haruchiyo doesn’t appear to care about his younger sister in any way, and he doesn’t even show any interest in her. His sister Senju is unarmed, therefore it is quite probable that he will go for the kill, and it is just as likely that his weapon will allow him to overwhelm her.
However, the Tokyo Revengers chapter 248 raw scans reveal that the next dramatic exchange between Koko and Inupi is quite quick. During Draken’s time as a member of Brahman, Inupi and Wakasa were at least friendly.
