Boruto Episode 238 Recap
In Boruto Episode 238, A Murder on the Boat, everyone has already left the Funato Clan and is en route to the Land of Water. Knowing that the boat’s damages will be paid gave Captain Taiki a breath of relief. Captain Taiki’s body was discovered the following day, and the prime suspect was none other than Kyoho, whose clothes had been splashed with blood. Kyoho’s team chose to check into the death of Captain Taiki first before coming to a final conclusion on Kyoho’s guilt. It was said that Kyoho was seen strolling toward the captain’s quarters by one of the rescuers.
A suspicious murder was a conclusion Kawaki came to after considering these factors. In response to Iwabe and Boruto’s questions, he said they should suspect the trap was created by someone from the Funato family. They pretended to have killed Kyoho in order to catch him when he went to get the sword from the corpse after he had been dead. When cornered, he tried to blow up the engine and commit himself so that no information about the Funato clan could be found. Because of this, they were stranded at sea.
