Sustaining oneself through the first night in Minecraft may be a difficult endeavour, especially for newbies, but in a recent cartoon, it looks to be an exciting journey. Not that the game isn’t what it appears to be, however, as another Minecraft animator discovered, there may be surprises hiding in plain sight – for example, in cats – from time to time, depending on how you play. Cats have been a part of the Minecraft world for quite some time.
The lovely feline companions act virtually identically to their real-life counterparts, yet animator Ocana Dana may have discovered the horrifying truth behind the Minecraft cats’ false sweetness in recent animation. A Minecraft cat appears in a short movie and proceeds to look about. Exactly at that time, the animator shows that the one and only pixel, which had previously been assumed to be nothing more than an empty space between a pair of cat’s eyes, is, in reality, the pupil of a single, far bigger eye.
In other words, according to this scary video, Minecraft cats are cyclopes, not cats. A recent Minecraft cartoon (courtesy of Redditor PlayArt20) wonderfully depicts many problems of surviving the first night in a vlog-style movie that is both charming and educational. In the video, Steve enters the voxel world with the intent of making a lasting impression. The character starts by punching the first few blocks of wood that will be used to construct a crafting table and then begins putting together mining tools.
Throughout the wonderfully animated Minecraft film, a variety of obstacles with increasing degrees of risk appear. Steve misplaces his vlog camera, makes the rookie error of mining diamonds with a stone pickaxe, and just avoids a zombie onslaught in a community he had just escaped from. PlayArt20 disclosed that the animation was developed in Blender with the use of an add-on known as MCprep, which was a time-saving tool.
A proposed Minecraft vlog series, which would culminate in a battle against the Ender Dragon, according to the author, will begin with this video and continue in a similar fashion. Another one of PlayArt20’s delightful Minecraft films can be seen on his YouTube channel. Within a single block, the talented content developer was able to animate the full of the Minecraft experience, which was one of his prior achievements.
In the movie, each side of a continually spinning cube portrays a significant milestone in the game’s completion, beginning with the player’s first tentative steps into a whole new universe. This Minecraft cartoon, which once again features Steve as the major character, follows him through many levels of discovery before ultimately confronting the unavoidable – the Ender Dragon.
Even still, the cube does not stop spinning, and the following scene in the never-ending cycle depicts the beginnings of the first Minecraft activities once more. Minecraft enthusiasts are already aware of the fundamentals of survival, but animating typical activities offers them a new perspective on the game. The charming movie of travelling through the earliest exploring phases brings back nostalgic recollections of pure awe, a sense of discovery, and, of course, tremendous dread after seeing the first horrors of a deceivingly benign Minecraft world, among other things. All of these feelings are perfectly conveyed by this accurate Minecraft animation.
