The Ender Dragon, the game’s terrifying final monster, has been replaced into an adorable bearded dragon thanks to a creative gamer. Changing the game’s axolotl character to a platypus, as another Minecraft creator did, is eerily similar to this notion. Platypuses have taken the place of Minecraft’s adorable axolotls, thanks to one ingenious gamer. However, despite their striking visual differences, the job was far more difficult than it seemed.
In order to accurately portray the platypus’s beak and bear-like tail, the axolotl’s fundamental form and texture were reworked. The finished product was a success for everyone, and it was well worth the effort. Another Minecraft enthusiast who chose a mob for a remodel in a completely different way reached a similar result. Reddit user meaniezombeanie has reimagined Minecraft’s Ender Dragon as a lovely bearded dragon in a similar way.
Due to rows of small spikes on its chin and body sides, the blocky animal is easily identifiable despite the lack of detail. It’s hard to imagine that the bearded dragon has all of the Ender Dragon’s abilities, given its diminutive size. While it’s not clear what the rebuilt dragon can do, it’s also not clear if the adorable reptile can fly.
But judging by the incredibly good response the cute lizard has gotten on Reddit, its combat abilities are not its most important attribute at this point in time. Others, however, go one step further and create even more horrifying renditions of the game’s foes, such as the creepy lizard.
A fan decided to convert Minecraft ghasts into nightmare-inducing monsters. The gamer altered the texture of the creatures to make them look like floating maws using a custom resource pack. The bearded dragon is a great fit for Minecraft because of its simple but attractive form. It’s charming enough to compete with the similarly adorable axolotl, and it could even join the vanilla game’s squad of blocky animals. While demonstrating that it isn’t difficult to meet the popular sandbox’s design standards, meaniezombeanie has also proved that introducing new animals to Minecraft is a viable option.
