An explosive new Vengeance Bow has been added to Far Cry 6’s latest free DLC adventure. This is another example of the open-world action game’s Hollywood influence, following in the footsteps of Far Cry 6’s Danny Trejo cameo. As of the middle of December 2021, the Danny Trejo DLC, dubbed Dani & Danny vs. Everyone, was available, allowing Far Cry protagonist Dani Rojas to team up with the Machete actor to fight off soldiers who disapproved of their humanitarian activities on Yara. Since its debut in October, Far Cry 6 has gotten a slew of post-release support from developers.
For a little fee, players may take on the roles of two more antagonists from the series’ lore in two new paid DLC missions. To begin with, the Far Cry 3 antagonist Vaas: Insanity was the subject of a roguelike adventure that delved into his psyche. Also in January, the Far Cry 6 staring Pagan Min DLC was released, giving players more insight into the inner evils that torment King of Kyrat in Far Cry 4.
In a DLC release that has yet to be slated, Joseph Seed, the major adversary of the fifth mainstream game, will once again appear. Far Cry 6’s latest free adventure, “Rambo: All the Blood,” is currently available across all platforms. A Rambo fan in-game recruits Dani to take on Yaran military troops in a blood-soaked rampage in the new downloadable expansion, as the title indicates.
A press statement from Ubisoft gushes over the game’s “perfect synergy” of over-the-top action and stealth, which is clear in the announcement video, which also includes several Rambo allusions. Additionally, a brand-new weapon, the Vengeance Bow, with explosive potential, can be seen in the gameplay footage. Far Cry 6’s latest DLC adds Rambo-style gear and a vehicle to Dani’s arsenal. At least one more cross-over adventure is planned for Far Cry 6 this year, after the inclusion of Rambo and Danny Trejo content.
In addition, according to a previously revealed content roadmap, there will be some sort of Stranger Things tie-in, which will go online at some point in March. As previously mentioned, Ubisoft’s post-launch support for Far Cry 6 includes Joseph: Collapse, a chargeable DLC. What you can anticipate from Vaas: Insanity and Pagan: Control are roguelike experiences with plenty of opponents to battle and tasks to overcome.
