Momonga, on the other hand, was a good gamer, and Ainz is a strong figure in the YGGDRASIL gaming world, where the game is set. For the first time, he looks at YGGDRASIL’s environment as a magical necromancer rather than a guy playing a video game.
Ainz prepares to lead his realm, the Sorcerer Kingdom, in the third season’s closing episode. The struggles and tribulations of Ainz as the ruler of his realm begin to take centre stage in the “Overlord” light novels at a certain point, which is why the tenth volume of the light book series should be used as the starting point for the fourth season.
