2021 was a great year for the Japanese animation industry overall, with several new series like Tokyo Revengers becoming instant classics, while major titles like Demon Slayer made their triumphant comeback.
One Piece and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations dominated the worldwide anime debate week after week.
There have been several delays and postponements for these two mega-franchises in the first few months of 2022.
Since the episode was delayed last week, when can fans expect to see Boruto episode 231 on Crunchyroll?
Why was Episode 231 of BORUTO postponed?
This Sunday’s episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was unfortunately postponed and did not air as scheduled in Japan.
Fans should not worry about the break; the anime business always takes a vacation over the New Year’s weekend in Japan, and this year will be no exception to that trend.
Crunchyroll was unable to provide access to Boruto episode 231 since it was not broadcast in Japan.
Numerous other anime programmes, such as One Piece and 86 Eighty-Six, took a vacation from last weekend’s broadcast schedule.
This is the release date and time for BORUTO EPISODE 231.
On Sunday, January 9th, 2022, the entire globe may look forward to the release of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 231.
New episodes of Crunchyroll will be available to stream online at the following times:
It’s 1 AM in the Pacific Standard Time zone.
3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time
9 a.m. GMT, British Time
10 a.m. CET, in European Time.
At 2:30 p.m. IST in India
5 p.m. PHT in the Philippines
7:30 p.m. A.D.T. in Australia
Attention Boruto fans: the aforementioned launch is solely for the release of episode 231 for premium subscribers. The following week’s free episode will be the next chapter of the Boruto anime.
A PREVIEW HAS BEEN SHARED, BUT IS IT OFFICIAL?
The official preview trailer for the next episode was quickly shared by fans following the conclusion of Episode 230 in Japan.
Boruto episode 231 will be named “The Rusty Sword,” and it will involve Team 15 attempting to apprehend a bunch of thieves, one of whom may be a formidable Samurai fighter.
New OP and ED tracks have been confirmed…
The new opening and closing themes for Boruto will be released in conjunction with the airing of episode 231 of the popular anime.
‘FLOW’, a Japanese rock band, performs the new opener titled ‘GOLD’.
“VOLTAGE,” the new closing theme by Japanese pop artist “Anly,” will play at the end of the film.
I’m curious as to when the next chapter of the manga is going to be released.
Tomorrow, January 20th will see a worldwide publication of chapter six of Boruto: The Next Generations manga.
It will be free to read online through Viz Media and Manga Plus, and new users will pay $1.99 a month for access to the complete archive of published chapters.
The raw scans have not yet been published online, and the first previews are likely to be released on January 15th.
