The locations, cost, and event dates for the first-ever Pokémon GO Tour Live have been announced. Niantic’s events are one of the most exciting aspects of Pokémon GO, and this one promises to be even better than the rest, with the chance for players to return to the Kanto area.
The Halloween event, the twenty-fifth-anniversary celebration, and even a Pokémon GO event featuring Zarude from Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle have all taken place in 2021. These events provided players with a variety of benefits, including uncommon or unusual Pokémon spawns, free raid passes, and the ability to learn special moves for certain Pokémon. Pokémon GO users had a lot to do in 2021, thanks to all of these events, and it appears that Niantic wants to kick off 2022 with another large event.
In a post on the official Pokémon GO blog today, some facts about the live tour were revealed. The live event will take place on February 27th, right after the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto event on February 26th. The rewards for the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto were fantastic, so players are eager to see what the 2022 tour has in store. Three cities throughout the world will host the event: Monterrey, Mexico; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Players can earn up to nine free remote raid tickets by spinning photo discs in gyms during the event, which includes bonus candies, Special Research, special stickers, and bonus special trading privileges. There are also a variety of fun real-world features, such as picture ops, exclusive products, and, perhaps most intriguingly, real-world themed habitats for players to explore, each with its own set of Collection Challenges. The live tour promises to be a spectacular event for individuals who wish to put on their trainer hats and devote themselves to building their Pokémon GO collection, with all of these plans already known and more to be disclosed.
Pokémon GO’s popularity rises and falls in tandem with Niantic’s positive and negative improvements to the game. Major events with the promise of exciting rewards entice players to return to the game after extended absences, while unfavorable adjustments, such as seemingly random swings in Pokémon GO’s lure module box costs, cause others to progressively abandon the game. The game’s active and inactive fans, on the other hand, have a lot to look forward to with the planned events that have already been announced for 2022, with more definitely to be announced in the coming months. The Pokémon GO Tour: Live event tickets are non-refundable and sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure you want to go and get your pass while supplies last.
