The Last of Us Is Supposedly Inspired by Star Wars Eclipse

Star Wars Eclipse, according to a new claim, was inspired by Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. It’s unclear how given that Star Wars Eclipse is unlikely to be about a trek across the post-apocalyptic United States during a fungal outbreak. Having said that, the Star Wars Eclipse video hinted at a darker tone for the Star Wars brand than typical – but information about the game’s content have yet to indicate its maturity level.
While it is unsure whether Disney would approve of an M-rated Star Wars game, Quantic Dream may attempt to push their game to the limit without straying too far from a T-rated release. Disney looks to have already invested much in Quantic Dream, as Star Wars Eclipse is set in the High Republic, an era that has not been explored in any previous Star Wars video game. Although Star Wars fans are likely to be familiar with this section of the lore, Quantic Dream retains the ability to contribute to or change the High Republic universe.
AccNGT, a Twitter user who has been leaking details on Star Wars Eclipse for some time, has disclosed the game was influenced by The Last of Us. Although there is no additional information on this claim, AccNGT claimed Quantic Dream is attempting to offer a good narrative with memorable action sequences. Naughty Dog has achieved this balance fairly consistently across all of its games, but the studio is best renowned for the narrative and action sequences in its The Last of Us series.
However, it will likely be some time before fans truly understand what this Last-of-Us-related assertion means. According to trustworthy insiders, Star Wars Eclipse is still years away; hence, Quantic Dream will likely fade into the background for the foreseeable future as it works on the next game. Given Disney’s announcement that it would enable other developers to work on Star Wars in early 2021, the game is likely still in its infancy. However, there should be additional changes in the future months.
The game appears to be fairly ambitious and, if completed correctly, will certainly fulfil a lot of demands for a modern Star Wars game. Numerous critics have commented that the majority of EA’s previous Star Wars products have fallen short of capturing the full scope of the Star Wars universe. Some new Star Wars Eclipse pictures indicate that the game will span numerous worlds and provide a comprehensive, in-depth look at the universe created by George Lucas in 1977.
