DNC Webtoon has announced that the Solo Leveling manhwa will not be released this week, despite multiple back-to-back weeks of amazing chapters with beautiful artworks and fights. Recap of Chapter 175
The continuation of the Sung Jin-Woo vs Antares battle begins in Chapter 175. The Shadow monarch vs the Destruction monarch This is the battle that will determine the outcome of the war. Antares, who had been engaged in the previous chapter, begins by transforming into his dragon form and shooting fire beams at our hero, who is flying around on the back of his Knight-ranked shadow dragon, Kaisel.
Because of all of Kaisel’s ducking, the fire beams barely miss him, but SJW believes that just one of those beams is enough to injure him and probably kill a shadow warrior. Antares, tired of dodging, use Dragon’s Roar to immobilize Kaisel and Sung Jin-Woo. Kaisel sacrifices himself as Antares prepares to hit them both with a beam of fire, using the last of his will to fling Jin-Woo away from the blast.
Recognizing that rushing in will not win this battle, our hero summons lower shadow dragons to keep Antares busy while he thinks. He plans how he will win without being hit by the Dragon’s Roar and attack combo. Jin-Woo realizes that in order to win, he needs some kind of armour.
Starting to imagine his armour Jin-Woo begins to draw the darkness and shadows of the world to him as he attempts to create an armour large enough for every living being on Earth to see. Antares, who has since killed the shadow warriors, notices this and thinks to himself that this human has brought death itself down to Earth and is controlling it.
Antares thinks to himself once more, realizing how dangerous he is. “I have to get rid of this jerk before he becomes too powerful.” Sung Jin-Woo, now in his massive Shadow Armor form, rushes forward to attack our hero. The chapter concludes just as the two most powerful monarchs are about to collide.
Date of Publication
This chapter’s release date has been pushed back by a week, as previously stated. Chapter 176 was set to be released on Wednesday, December 1. However, DNC Webtoon has announced that chapter 176 will be delayed by a week due to the need to improve the chapter’s quality.
As a result, the release date for Chapter 176 has been pushed back to Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
