Antares vs Sung Jin-Woo is finally approaching. Here is the spoilers and raw scans for Solo Leveling chapter 173.
Chapter 172 Recap
The most recent chapter of Solo Leveling put a lot of things into action for this future chapter. So before we move into the spoilers and predictions for chapter 173 let’s first conduct a recap of 172. As noted before this chapter set up a lot of things for the current arc of Solo Leveling. After seeing a news broadcast of how horrible things are, we cut to Adam White, branch chief of the Federal Bureau of Hunters Asian HQ.
He observes the horror going down, whilst begging for a miracle. And he gets one, as we cut to Sung Jin-Woo, continuing his scheme from chapter 171, slaying monsters and adding them to his dead shadow army.
The dragon monarch notices this and comments how the shadow monarch is getting stronger by the minute. He also states how he cannot currently locate the shadow army. Creating a plan the dragon monarch sends the monarch of terrible humanoids, to attack SJW. He also tells the monarch of transfiguration to stay by him and plan an ambush for the shadow army.
However, the monarch of monstrous humanoids is immediately intervened by the Scavenger Guild’s Thomas Andre. When he notices it’s simply the human he had battered down before the monstrous monarch relaxes.
Only to see the entire shadow army emerge from Thomas’s shadow. The king instantly tries to contact Antares, the dragon monarch, but he discovers he can’t owing to Tusk’s magic. This angers the monarch of terrible humanoids, as he cries out, these are human tactics. He carries on to explain, that person has no right to be a ruler.
Something that profoundly angers Beru, as he strides forward and the two ready to fight. This chapter finishes on the sharpest of cliffhangers. Right when Sung Jin-Woo approaches Antares, monarch of dragons.
Chapter 173 Spoilers
Spoilers for the following chapter are currently not out. The raws are likely to emerge roughly an hour or two before the formal release of the English translations. Although the leaks aren’t yet out, I believe it Is a good prediction to say that we will witness two fights go down next chapter.
Beru vs the monarch of horrible humanoids. And the fight everyone’s been waiting for, Sung Jin-Woo vs Antares. The ruler of shadows fights the monarch of dragons. We might simply get a tiny tease of that encounter, as the Beru fight will most likely occupy the foreground for this forthcoming chapter.
We may also get an update of what’s going on with those hunters who were in China, seeing as how we haven’t heard from them for a couple of chapters. What do you think will happen, be sure to share in the comments below.

Regarding the publication date for this chapter. Chapter 173 is expected to release, Thursday, November 12th.
At the time of writing this article, D&C Webtoon hasn’t announced any delays to this chapter, so we can presume it will release without issue.
