Chapter 150 Recap
Before we move into chapter 151 spoilers, let’s give a quick summary of what took place in chapter 150, titled ‘Day Off.’ As indicated earlier and visible in the title of the chapter, chapter 150 gives our players a well-deserved day off. After giving the players their phones and other possessions Ego sent them out on their two-week holidays, a reward for their recent success.
We observe that Bachira, Chigiri, and Isagi decided to meet up at a coffee shop in the Shibuya district. Isagi asks whether they asked anyone else and Bachira and Isagi explain him that they tried, but most of the original Team Z wasn’t available. After coincidentally running across Reo, Kenyuu, Jyuubei, Tabito, Aoshi, and Otoya, the group collectively resolves to head to a local arcade and jump Nagi.
Who didn’t show up because he woke up late, and then found a new fascinating arcade to check out. After playing a couple of games and having fun the party moves on to try some karaoke. But while seeking for available rooms the players run into the U-20 team. Claiming Blue Lock to be their despised rivals the two squads prepare to combat.
Aqua leaps in however, stating instead they should do some bowling and bet dinner on it. After arriving at the bowling alley the teams proceed to fill in their names when the Blue Lock team finds Barou playing by himself.
Hitting a great strike, the team instantly swarms him, to which he says, you are violating my sacred space. Making the whole squad began to laugh. A wonderfully healthy moment that chapter 150 concluded on.
Chapter 151 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dig straight into chapter 151’s spoilers. Warning, however, some raws for the future chapter are already available therefore there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned. Chapter 151, titled ‘A Changing World,’ begins after a couple of games have been played between the two sides. We watch the U-20’s very focused Miruko get a strike on the team’s final turn, forcing the Blue Lock team to also get a strike to tie.
So for the last roll, Nagi steps up, the whole time he mentions to himself how he is hungry and hot. Obviously not paying attention Nagi stumbles on his own foot and sends the ball soaring down the lane. Miraculously, he hits a strike causing the game to continue into overtime. Isagi excuses himself, telling the groups he has to go meet up with another friend. As he waits for the train to come in a little child with his father and mother spots Isagi and walks up to him.
The youngster goes on to tell him that Isagi’s final goal was so fantastic and that he likes Isagi and all the other Blue Lock players. After shaking the boy’s hand cheerfully and boarding the train Isagi thinks to himself he really has changed, both his objective and the world.
Then we get to see who Isagi was meeting with, it’s Tada Tomonari, one of Isagi’s high school teammates. Though we readers recall him as the one who missed that aim, way back in chapter 1. After talking up and catching up with him, Tada says something along the lines of, that was one fortuitous goal. To which Isagi laughs along with, Tada then continues, stating, you used all your lives luck on one goal.
Isagi chuckles along again but in his brain, he thinks about how, maybe that goal could be luck, but everything else he did in Blue Lock was a grueling fight. After conversing some more the two make their goodbyes, and Isagi explains that he was wrong, the world didn’t change, he did.
For the last few pages of the chapter, we get to witness Ego in the Blue Lock meeting room with people he calls, the large owners. The major owners say that despite this was a risky investment, it’s working out nicely. To which Ego argues that risk and return will always be equal, else it isn’t interesting. Ego adds on to declare, he will involve the world in Blue Lock Phase 2, stating how it will be a giant dreadnaught entertainment endeavor. Ending the chapter there, amid Ego’s mad planning.
