Last week’s scary showdown between Shigiraki/AFO and Star and Stripe had viewers sitting on the edge of their seats, wondering what was going to happen next. It has finally arrived: the raws for My Hero Academia chapter 332, “State-of-the-Art Hypersonic Intercontinental Cruise,” have been made available.
Recap of Chapter 331
Before we get started, let’s take a short look back at what happened in the last chapter, America.
With Shigiraki’s massive explosion, chapter 331 picks off right where chapter 330 left off, while he continues to wrestle with his own identity. Having turned into a woman with significantly longer hair, Shigiraki informs the American hero that he recognises and understands her eccentricity.
Continued by saying that, despite the fact that it is the most powerful quirk, it has apparent limitations. Star, realising she has no other option, orders her pilots to summon commander Ackbar. She instructs her pilots to spread the word that Shigaraki is no longer an enemy of Japan, but rather a global threat who must be eliminated immediately. Following this, America’s greatest hero employs her quirk to solidify the atmosphere around her by a factor of 100 in her form.
Star and Stripe is able to go full force now that she has a giant invisible version of herself. Then she uses this form to punch Shigaraki in the face, sending him flying backwards as she transforms into her Giga form. After inflicting terrible injuries on him, they used lasers to finally pin him to the ground. At that point, commander Ackbar tells her that it is time for her to transcend the title of All Might, Star and Stripes hero.
As the TIAMAT missiles make their way into the area.
Spoilers for Chapter 332
Now that we’ve all caught up, let’s jump right into the spoilers for chapter 332. Note that certain raws for the future chapter have already been released, therefore there are confirmed spoilers in the following section; you have been forewarned.
In many ways, this chapter appears to pick up precisely where the last one left off. With the TIAMAT missiles en route to our adversary, ready to eliminate him. According to what we can tell, Star and Stripe is ready to use the missiles, but first she must complete her new order for lasers, which we believe she will do shortly.
This will be made up for by having one of her pilots ensure that Shigaraki does not move while she switches between commands, according to her plans. She succeeds to pull it off and begins to rain down TIAMAT missiles on Shigaraki from the sky, which she has now taken control of. Once all of the explosions have gone off, all of the pilots wait with bated breath, not knowing if they were successful in taking him out.
We even catch a sight of Endeavor, who appears to be watching from a distant location.
First, we witness a very little flashback of Star and Stripe with all of her pilots before we get to see the aftermath of this situation. Because everyone is laughing and sitting together, it appears that they are in a lounge area.
We even catch a glimpse of Star and Stripe cracking a little smile as she observes her colleagues having a good time.
Returning to the combat, however, it is shown that Shigaraki is not quite out of the woods. He used his ability of decay to decay the ocean floor against which he was pinned, creating a little pocket for himself to sit in.
Furthermore, because the laser has drained the water, he is able to breathe normally. Given that he was hiding in a tiny little burrow, the missiles didn’t have a significant impact on him.

It’s not certain if he will be able to steal her peculiarity or whether someone like Aizawa will be able to save the day. However, it is where this chapter ends up leaving us hanging.
