Season 3 of Fire Force has an official release date!
No date or confirmation has been given for the third season of “Fire Force,” nor has the show’s official release date been confirmed. However, there is cause to believe that a second season of the series is currently in development. By the end of April, the official Twitter anime “Fire Force” had sold more than 15 million copies, as per the official Twitter account. With strong sales, it is evident that the show is popular enough to warrant a second season. According to Atsushi Okubo, the manga should be completed shortly, and this will cause a delay in the creation of the following anime season.
Okubo stated in an interview that he intended the manga to be completed in approximately 30 volumes but that this could change. Okubo indicates in Volume 23 of the manga that the tale is in the final chapter, and that “Fire Force” will be the ultimate manga, which is in accordance with a report from Anime News Network.
Because there have been 28 volumes of manga published so far, there may also be a slight delay in identifying the specific ending. Season 3 could possibly be published in late 2021, however it is possible that official announcements will be made throughout the rest of the year, with the season being released in 2022.
