Another teaser and promotional poster for season three of Kaguya-Sama: Love is War have just been revealed. They feature several of the show’s characters, including Yuu Ishigama and her friends, Miyuki Shirogane and Maki Shijo, and Kaguya Shinomiya, the series’ titular character.
As previously said, the new season will be launched in April 2022. Currently, there is no official release date, but the over ten-minute promotional film should keep fans entertained until then.
With two seasons already under its belt, Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is an animated rom-com based on the same-name Aka Akasan manga series.
The show’s first two seasons, produced by A-1 Pictures, were huge successes, and it appears that many of the original actors and staff members, including director Mamoru Hatakeyama, will return for the show’s third season.
Other cast members such as Kaguya’s voice actress Aoi Koga and characters such as Kaguya’s sister Miyuki’s actor Makoto Furukawa and Chika’s actress Konomi Kohara are all set to return.
“Yuu Ishigami Wants To Talk About It” is a delightfully meta-narrative written when the Kaguya-Sama anime was initially announced.
It makes fun of the general public’s image of otakus and anime fans. The promotional video was posted in its original Japanese to YouTube. Due mainly to the fantastic voice cast, the anime adaptation has near-perfect comedic timing this time around.
Many Shuchiin Academy fans will be excited to see what happens next in the series. The romantic rivalry between Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya gets even more tense as the story progresses.
No new plot lines or characters have been introduced, and no firm release date has been set.
The first two seasons are currently streaming on different services, including Crunchyroll and Hulu, but international licensing has not been released. Until the new season begins, we’ll have to make do with the recently revealed promotional materials.
