Sally lies about it since she doesn’t want a conflict. Somenki has come to terms with it’s amusing to call Sally and then strike her. But he was abruptly silenced by someone nearby. The worst nightmare has arrived for Somenki, who discovers he is Sumerian.
So why shouldn’t Somenki kill people, he wonders? Somenki informs Sumeragi that his order kills everyone in the country, and Frau recognizes that the man is talking to an Ogre.
According to Sumeragi, he can murder everyone except for Sally, which Somenki learns from Sumeragi. Somenki is adamant about learning the truth about what happened when Princess Sally was murdered.
In response to Sumeragi’s explanation, Somenki can teleport back to her original location. Carrot wonders what would have occurred if Sumeragi hadn’t called Somenki before leaving the battlefield with him.
For some reason, the conflict between demons and humans has not ended, and Sally is perplexed. He’s in a state of shock because his home valley was utterly wiped out at the exact moment.
Sally recommends they keep going because they don’t have anything else to fall back on besides one other. Instead of travelling to the city, the employees chose to stay in their neighbourhood.
Sally decides to visit her anti-apartheid educators after meeting Mikoto. During the night, Sally has a run-in with Sumeragi, who reminds her of “Xian Dao.”
