RPGs have seen a lot of amazing titles throughout the years. Some of the most popular RPG games today include Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, and Mass Effect.
These games take place most of the time in a fictitious universe where the main character or all of the characters have meta-abilities that they can use to their advantage.
However, game designers have been known to try and include real-world lore or Easter eggs into their creations. And that’s when the players are fully engrossed.
Genshin Impact is one of the most well-known RPGs right now. Genshin Impact 2.2 release date will be discussed in this post. We’ll also look into what’s new in this update along with it.
MiHoYo, a Chinese game development studio, created Genshin Impact, an action RPG game. In September 2020, it was initially made available for Android, iOS, Windows, and PS4.
The game was an instant hit upon its release. Many gamers pre-ordered it and earned some in-game incentives because it is a free-to-play game across all platforms. It excels in RPG titles of all kinds in the plot, gameplay mechanics, and aesthetics.
Because the game was designed primarily for mobile devices, we expect to see a higher percentage of sales on devices running Android or iOS.
However, this does not rule out the possibility of major download activity on other platforms. This game has a sizable user population for having just been around for a year. Let’s have a look at when Genshin Impact 2.2 will be released.
The Plot and Story of Genshin Impact As of right now
Genshin Impact tells the narrative of two twins who journey across the cosmos, going from one area to the next. They stumble upon the Land of Teyvat while on one of these excursions.
They make the snap decision to flee after learning of the conflict raging in the Khaenri’ah region. The moment they attempted to depart, an enigmatic god materialized in front of them.
The player can pick between a girl twin and a guy twin in this game. One of the twins is taken prisoner by the gods, and the other is sealed away for 500 years.
Paimon, the fairy-like entity that awakens the sealed sibling, greets her. As a result, she calls him the Traveler. After that, they’ll head to Monstadt in pursuit of the aforementioned lost twin.
A Fatui Harbinger named La Signora confronts Venti, Paimon, and the Traveller after defeating the dragon Stormterror and seizing Venti’s Gnosis. After that, Venti tells the two to hunt for Geo Archon Rex Lapis.
When they go to Liyue, they see the ritual killing of Rex Lapis. Also, they were losing optimism that they’d learn something about the brother or sister. Childe, a Fatui Harbinger on the lam, introduces them to the Lapis’ Gnosis.
As they learn later, Zhongli, a funeral parlor consultant, turns out to be the Geo Archon’s human vessel. He had, however, secretly agreed with La Signora and offered her his Gnosis in exchange for her loyalty.
Traveler greets Dainsleif when they return to Ronstadt. They look into the Abyss Order as a group. Traveler is reunited with his long-lost brother, who is now the Abyss Order’s leader.
Traveller asks about Dainslief’s true nature, and they reveal that he is truly a member of Khaenri’ah’s people, just as the Abyss Order and all other creatures. They say their goodbyes with the understanding that they will meet again at some point in the future.
