Chapter 309 of Black Clover: A Review
Previously, in the manga chapter titled “Twinkling,” the protagonist continues his conflict with the villain Zenon Zogratis. Zenon is first seen squaring up against Yuno’s specter.
After spotting the two Grimoires near Yuno, Zenon was caught off guard as the vice-captain of the Golden Dawn launched a surprise attack.
When illustrating a royal family, the manga uses a solar system, with Loyse’s father being represented as the sun and Ciel’s mother as the moon. It was revealed to Zenon that Yuno was an heir to the kingdom due to her royal bloodline.
After that, Yuno asked Bell to keep some of Yuno’s power for herself. The vice-captain also thanked his teammates for their efforts to restrain Zenon as he prepared. When Zenon used his bones to attack Yuno, the magical knight merely ignored it due to Zenon’s greater might.
Since Yuno’s wall is up, Zenon believes he has no chance of defeating him. However, Zenon is caught off guard when Yuno appears before him and fires a second strike.
