Popular anime “My Hero Academia,” tells the story of Daiki Yamashita’s character Izuku Midoriya, a young kid who dreams of becoming a superhero one day.
But, unfortunately, people worldwide develop “Quirks,” which are superpowers specific to each individual. It’s too bad for Izuku, who lacks a Quirk, but that doesn’t dissuade him from striving for his goal with all his Might.
In the series, Izuku meets a mentor in the form of the superhero All Might, portrayed by Kenta Miyake. While protecting his friends, allies, and innocents from the League of Villains and other foes, Izuku finds himself rapidly pitted against the League and other foes.
“My Hero Academia” is based on a manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi and is produced by the Bones animation studio.
Kenji Nagasaki is in charge of the show’s direction, Yusuke Kuroda is in charge of the writing, and Yoshihiko Umakoshi is in charge of the character design. Season 6 of “My Hero Academia” was recently confirmed, making a total of five seasons.
When will My Hero Academia Season 6 be released?
“My Hero Academia” fans hoping for additional episodes after Season 5 have their desire granted: Season 6 was announced shortly after the final episode of Season 5 aired in Japan, teased by a voiceover in the final seconds of the finale.
In a teaser released on the show’s official Twitter, a new season will follow Izuku and his pals as they combat the growing menace of the baddies.
‘My Hero Academia’ Season 6 premiere date was not included in the announcement. If the release dates of earlier episodes are any indication, Season 6 is likely to arrive in the second half of 2022, with GamesRadar forecasting an October 2022 release date.
Season 3 premiered in April 2018, and Season 4 premiered in October 2019. This season’s release was delayed significantly owing to the outbreak, but Season 6 is scheduled to keep to the regular release schedule.
What characters might we expect to see in the upcoming season of the anime?
Season 6 of “My Hero Academia” will continue the series’ focus on main character Izuku, who is now a well-trained combatant who works with numerous other heroes.
Others include Katsuki Bakugo, a hero who was once Izuku’s childhood friend but has since learned to respect and work alongside the hero, Ochaco Uraraka, a talented hero with romantic feelings for Izuku but hasn’t expressed them, and Izuku’s other friends and team members like Tenya Ida, Shoto Todoroki, and Eijiro Kirishima, among others.
The teenage heroes have a variety of unique abilities, such as Katsuki’s capacity to summon explosives at command and Ochaco’s power to touch anything and eliminate its gravitational pull.
‘My Hero Academia’ focuses on teachers like All Might, with Eijiro Kirishima, also known as Eraser Head, as one of the students’ favorite mentors, along with the heroes in training.
Hizashi Yamada, commonly known as Present Mic, Nezu, or Mr. Principal, and Nemuri Kayama, aka Midnight, are two more teachers. But there are also the bad guys in “My Hero Academia,” like Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko Toga, and Atsuhiro Sako.
After covering the manga’s Endeavor Agency and Meta Liberation Army storylines in Season 5, “My Hero Academia” will move onto Season 6, covering the upcoming “Paranormal Liberation War.”
Throughout Season 5, the League of Villains, who have long been a problem for the heroes, joins forces with the Meta Liberation Army, a radical group of superpowered individuals, to form the massive and catastrophic Paranormal Liberation Front.
Their leader Tomura is rapidly gaining power and wants to seize Izuku’s One For All Quirk in the end. Season 6’s brief teaser suggests that Izuku and Tomura are about to engage in a great war that has been brewing for some time.
To put an end to Tomura and the Paranormal Liberation Front once and for all, the heroes must band together and train as hard as they can.
