Gleipnir is a well-known psychological-thriller action manga that follows a group of teenagers (primarily) with unique abilities. On April 5, 2020, Tokyo MX will begin airing an original 13-episode television anime series based on the story written by Sun Takeda and produced by Studio Pine Jam.
This licensed English sub-release by Funimation helped increase the manga’s popularity in the west, resulting in the localization of manga in countries like France, the United States, and Spain.
Is there going to be another season of Gleipnir?
Studio Pine Jam, publisher Kodansha, or any other member of the production team has not yet renewed the anime for a second season at this writing.
As of June 28, 2020, the anime’s first season she had concluded. Since then, many shows have been revived for a second season. Gleipnir, however, is not among them.
Given the first season of Gleipnir’s publication date, it is too early to approve a new season. While official information is scarce, it is possible to make educated guesses about a potential second season based on three essential characteristics.
Does Gleipnir Season 2 have enough content?
Today, most anime that we watch has been adapted from previously published works, such as manga, light novels, video games, and the like.
Manga serves as the inspiration for Gleipnir’s design. So, we’ll have to see how many volumes are currently accessible, how many have been adapted in the previous season, and whether or not the series is still running at this point!
There is still work being done on Sun Takeda’s original manga, which appears in the third issue of Kodansha’s Young Magazine. Serialization began in 2015, and the most recent ten volumes have all been released. Up to volume 4 was covered in the first season. Therefore there are a total of 6 books accessible for use.
As a result, there are currently six volumes ready for adaptation, which means there is enough material for a second season. The series is still doing strong, which bodes well for a sequel possibility.

Manga is the primary source of information.
Everyone loved the anime series because it’s so well-liked and well-received. It quickly racked up a devoted following and glowing endorsements from critics alike.
The program’s premise is interesting in that it’s not your typical fantasy anime with pointless violence set in a virtual world. Everything depicted in this show occurred. The action scenes are compelling, and the cast is fantastic. It was a massive success because of this.
For a series that appears in a monthly magazine in Japan, manga is also highly popular. With an average of 50k copies sold every volume, it has an excellent track record of sales.
