So, what’s the deal with the Dragon Ball Super Anime?
Manga adaption of Dragon Ball Super, created by Resurrection ‘F’ manga artist Toyotarou, began serialization in the August 2015 issue of V Jump and was published on June 20, 2015.
The main storyline points are given to Toyotarou by Toriyama, who then draws the storyboard and fills in the blanks. In the end, he gives the storyboards back to Toriyama for his approval, who revises them with new language and art before returning them to Toyotarou to finish. Toyotarou then delivers them to Shueisha for publishing.
After finishing the final story arc of the Super anime series in November of last year, the manga created its storylines. Shueisha started compiling the chapters into the tank on books.
