“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 219 has Sasuke returning to Konohagakure following the conclusion of the battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki.
The official summary of the upcoming episode on TV Tokyo reveals what the shinobi warriors will face after their epic battle in another dimension. Watch it here.
Naruto and his friends were able to save their town as a result of their heroic efforts. After the Momoshiki event, Boruto is still in a daze. He’s still worried the Otsutsuki will take over his mind.
Amado has some new information to impart somewhere. Sasuke and Kawaki learn about Jigen’s loyal Kara Inner Code after hearing him tell Naruto and the others about it.
He cautions them, saying that Code is more potent than Jigen and that they must be on the lookout for Code’s retaliation.
When we last left Naruto and his allies, they had just finished a long and grueling battle. And then, out of nowhere, Boruto pursued Sasuke. Boruto’s consciousness had been taken over by an Otsuki named Momoshiki, as was evident.
Kawaki tried in vain to extricate Boruto from Momoshiki’s grasp. After that, Sasuke put out a scheme.
“After they struggle with Isshiki, Naruto and the others are worn out and weak. Boruto suddenly attacks Sasuke. Boruto’s consciousness has been taken over by Momoshiki, who now stands before them as an adversary.
The desperation in Kawaki’s voice is palpable as she begs Boruto to get her out of this trance. It’s too bad his words don’t get through.
Sasuke reveals the solution to restoring Boruto’s awareness to Kawaki. Kawaki employs a risky strategy based on a Jutsu he just learned in an attempt to save Boruto.
While Sasuke and Kawaki struggle for their lives, Naruto exhausts himself. Crunchyroll’s official summary for Episode 218 teases, “As his consciousness fades, he and Kurama silently reflect on their past.”
Aside from Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, the cast also includes Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, and Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki.
