According to the anime’s plot, when a black meteorite crashed into the world one day, everything changed. D2 creatures were unleashed due to the meteorite’s strange effects, and they went on the rampage. D2 took immediate action to silence all music, as it was the only thing that could stand up to them.
However, a small minority of people were opposed to the D2. They are “Musicart,” a group of young women with incredible musical talent. These young women have “scores” that allow them to beat the monsters in their path. A Conductor is a group of males who guide these women.
The story takes place in 2047 in a ruined America caused by the D2. Musical Unmei and Conductor Takt work together on projects. Takt longs for the return of music to the world, whereas Unmei desires the axing of the D2. Their ultimate goal is to reach New York City.
