When will Pokemon TCG, the newest installment in the Pokemon series, be released? I’m curious as to what new features and updates it will have over the previous beta version on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
There’s good news for Pokemon fans everywhere: the game is coming out soon on all platforms (including iPhone and Android) and will be available for all players to enjoy! Years after creating the current most-used online pokemon game, the Pokemon Company unveiled its iteration — Pokemon TCG Live.
In light of the Pokemon company’s official announcement, we are now entering a new era of Pokemon trading card games with the release of Pokemon (TCG) Trading Card Game Live. This new Pokémon TCGO app has been released since May 2012, unlike the previous version that was never updated.
Many upgrades will be made frequently, the visuals will be improved, and new content will be added that has never been seen before.
What you need to know about Pokemon Trading Card Game Live – Release date, device support, and platforms
On the occasion of The Pokémon Company International’s 25th anniversary, Barry Sams, the company’s vice president for Pokémon Trading Card Games (TCG), made the following announcement:
Pokémon Trading Card Game has always been a strong pillar and a favorite of young and old Trainers alike as we look back on 25 wonderful years of Pokémon.
Pikachu TCG Live will complement the beloved tabletop version and usher in a brand new era of digital play where Trainers from all over the world can come together to play regardless of their preferred platform.”
For iOS and Android users, TCG Live is expected to be released later this year with a soft launch. Open beta versions will be released for PC and Mac, with support for additional devices coming over time.
In the new Pokemon TCG game, the player has the option to transfer old saved files and accounts from the Pokémon TCGO game.
You can move cards from earlier sets like the Black and White series, the XY series, and the Sun & Moon expansions at a later date even though there will be a limit to how much you can move.
Because of this, the game has no in-game currencies or wishes aside from Coins, Credits, and Crystals. It also doesn’t use the Gacha system.
