The preview trailer to the upcoming episode, which will be branded”Escape,” shows Naruto ready to head to Ryutan City. He shows he has no choice as Shikamaru insists not letting Kawaki input the village.
Shikamaru fears Kawaki might be an enemy and Naruto needs to meet him before they allow him to input Konohagakure. Shikamaru wants them to check his background thoroughly. It is a spinoff and sequel to Naruto.
